Excerpt: DynCorp International team members working in Afghanistan recently organized a winter clothing and equipment drive to support their local community. Project COLD (Community Organizing and Liaison Development) was established to not only collect donations of necessary cold weather apparel and equipment for those in nearby villages, but also to create partnerships with the local community. Through working on Project COLD, team members worked with community village leaders and local businesses in their free time to coordinate collecting donations and distribution.
